Collaborators’ Event Raises Over $350,000 to Strengthen Communities

Uniting for Impact

On November 7, over 100 donors gathered at Kingdom Prep Lutheran High School for Siebert Lutheran Foundation’s fifth annual Collaborators’ Event. Together, they raised $256,850 for 14 local grantee partners, with Siebert’s matching grant bringing the total to an inspiring $356,850. This event showcased the power of collaboration and generosity in strengthening organizations within the Lutheran Christian community.

Inspiring the Next Generation

Youth grantmakers from Journeys Lutheran School, Kingdom Prep Lutheran High School, and Fox Point Lutheran Church played a key role, learning how philanthropy can transform communities. Shawn, a student participant, shared, “Seeing everyone come together to give to nonprofits shows how much heart and love they have for those who serve the community. That motivates me to do the same.”

Driving Change Together

The funds raised will support 14 grantee partners in initiatives such as reentry programs and developing urban teachers. Shannon Durio of We Raise Foundation emphasized, “When everyone gives what they can, it all adds up to make a meaningful difference. Events like this remind us of our shared humanity.”

Looking Ahead

Since its inception, the Collaborators’ Event has raised over $700,000, proving the power of collective philanthropy in creating sustainable change. Together, we continue to extend God’s love and compassion through impactful community partnerships.
