A Legacy That Reflects Your Faith

Generosity is more than something we do. It's an expression of our faith, values, and what matters to us. And its impact doesn't have to end with our lifetime.

One Siebert supporter, after a lifetime of incredible generously supporting Lutheran ministries, shared that it seemed only natural to ensure their generosity would continue making a difference long after they were gone.

That's the power of leaving a legacy.

It's an opportunity to extend a lifetime of generosity into lasting impact, ensuring ministries you love can continue sharing God's love and serving others. And creating that legacy may be simpler than you think.

Three Ways to Make Your Generosity Last

1. Include a ministry in your will. You can include your church or favorite Lutheran ministry in your will. You can choose a specific dollar amount or a percentage of what you leave behind. Even a small gift can make a lasting difference.

2. Name a ministry as a beneficiary. You can leave all or part of a retirement account or life insurance policy to a charitable organization? In many cases, it's as simple as completing a form with your financial institution to indicate the beneficiary.

3. Explore other ways to give. Some charitable giving options allow you to support a ministry while also providing income for you or a loved one during your lifetime. A conversation with a gift planning professional can help you understand the possibilities.
