In 2020, Siebert conducted research and hosted several listening sessions to secure our stakeholders’ input into the annual conference format and content. We are grateful to be back this year with a new conference format that was developed as a result of this input. You will enjoy breakout session options and an interactive format that will provide opportunities for more engagement with speakers and other attendees. This year, the conference will use a 100% digital format and we are excited about what a virtual conference platform has to offer!
Another big change in 2021 is the new name: Inspired to Thrive. “Inspiring” and “Inspiration” were top words submitted from 2019 attendees when asked to share a word that describes how the conference, formerly known as Change or Die, has impacted their ministries over the last 10 years. “Inspired” also describes what we see in the ministries that Siebert supports: programming that inspires pastors and ministry leaders to Grow the Body of Christ – one of the Siebert Lutheran Foundation’s strategic funding priorities.
The Siebert Lutheran Foundation provides funding to churches and ministry programs associated with the ELCA, LC-MS, and WELS Lutheran church bodies. Siebert's annual conference is a place where pastors and ministry leaders from all three Lutheran denominations are welcome and encouraged to listen and learn from each other. These church bodies approach ministry in different ways and even have some distinct beliefs and traditions. Siebert has invited speakers, from all three Lutheran denominations, who will share strategies and best practices in a way that may be applied to a variety of ministry contexts.
We are excited to see you on October 13th and 14th and we pray you are Inspired to Thrive wherever God has planted you.
