Rev. Tom Pfotenhauer

Tom was literally born into serving at Woodbury Lutheran Church where his father was the founding pastor. After graduating from Woodbury High School, he earned a BA in Political Science/History at Concordia University Irvine. After taking a year off to work, Tom headed to Concordia Seminary St. Louis and earned a Master’s of Divinity. His first call was as an associate pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Boca Raton, Florida. After four years, he accepted a call back to his home congregation in Woodbury as the Associate Pastor for Missions and Outreach, before being called to serve as Senior Pastor in 2012. He and his wife, Stephanie, have been married for 11 years and have a 2-year-old daughter, Peyten, who is the joy of their lives. In his “spare” time, he loves to exercise, cheer on the Vikings and spend time in his garden, but reports that “most of all I love Jesus and desire to follow Him with my entire life.”
